Sagada Kindasan Weaving

The Sagada Kindasan Weaving was established in 2005 with the mission to provide livelihood support to the mothers of the community in Sagada. As the weaving town of the mountain province, weaving has been considered as a hand-me-down craft, a legacy passed on from the elder to the young. Consisting of 18 weavers, they create beautiful fabrics with very intricate and symbolic patterns that tell the story of the community's way of life. These beautiful weaves hold deep ancestral meaning with some used in traditional rituals.
