  • The Abaca Pinangabol is a traditional weave of the Daraghuyan Bukidnon Community, one of the seven tribes of Bukindon. Traditionally used for protective clothing, the Abaca Pinangabol is woven in a vertical loom using abaca fiber that is abundant in their forest. The community uses a combination of both natural and commercial dyes to achieve a variety of vibrant colours. Pinangabol weaves carry with them generations of tradition and spirituality, as women of the Daraghuyan Tribe perform a ritual before beginning their day's work on the loom.

Colors may vary slightly from the photo. Material content may also vary depending on the community that wove the fabric.
