Born from an ANTHILL design innovation in collaboration with Hablon ni Lauriana, this fabric reimagines Argao’s heritage habol tradition by fusing raw abaca fibers with soft polyester thread. The result is a refined Polyhemp—significantly softer and more wearable while retaining abaca's natural structure. Woven in a classic Argao plaid, a technique requiring precise grid work, this textile symbolizes the harmonious cover (habol) of heritage and modern adaptability. It celebrates the evolutionary spirit of Cebuano weaving, transforming centuries-old craftsmanship into a versatile, comfortable fabric for everyday life.
Colors may vary slightly from the photo. Material content may also vary depending on the community that wove the fabric.
